Today was the final show, "Fashion goes Guerilla". Here is my final outfit complete with styling, modelled by Bonnie. In the end the show was really effective, grabbing the attention of the public, although the older generation didn't seem too impressed!
The music system and ordered line definitely helped in drawing people over, and the music worked really well with fun upbeat tone to fit with the slightly rebellious vibe of the 'guerilla fashion show'. We encountered a little trouble marching through the Arndale centre (it was too late on to gain permission once we had decided upon how we wanted to present our work), security blocked a few people from following the end of the model's line, however no models were cut off from the group and it looked so exciting and effective!
Next time we should decide earlier on what we want to achieve through the show and where we want to hold it, at least a month in advance, so that everything can be settled and no problems are encountered. Another glitch was that the route of the boom-box was not considered when models stopped and posed, so the music could not be heard next to the models.
